Special Edition: Giving Tuesday

November 28 is Giving Tuesday, a “global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.”

As a 501(c)3 non-profit youth sport organization, Cascade Canoe & Kayak Racing Team relies on donations to support  our mission. Our 30’ ft boat transport trailer is in need of repairs (electrical wiring and jack). We are also in need of a new coach safety boat.

On the water with CCKRT 🚣‍♀️

The CCKRT Distance Race was held October 28 in Bothell. The sun was out and the day was spectacular! More than 80 paddlers from around the region raced 2, 5, and 10 km courses on the Sammamish River. CCKRT had a great race!

On November 11, we also raced at the Eric Hughes Memorial Distance Regatta hosted by Seattle Canoe & Kayak Club on Green Lake. Check out race results on Crew Timer https://www.crewtimer.com/regatta/r13134

As the 2023 race season winds down, we are super motivated to start winter training. We are paddling, weight lifting, and looking towards next year’s race season! Look for our Spring newsletter in March and have a wonderful holiday season!
