Saturday March 31st we hosted the Race for the cookies! We had second year in row of good weather (just check the weather today for a comparison) and great paddlers. Athletes from Seattle Canoe & Kayak Club, Bellingham Youth Paddlesports, Gig Harbor Canoe & Kayak Racing Team and Keystone Paddlers raced the 2km of the course up and down the Sammamish River in Bothell to win the great prize, a cookie, homemade.
